Hi everyone! I just got back from a great trip to Indiana University, University of Illinois, and University of Minnesota, and I wanted to let everyone know about the amazing initiatives that The David Project is helping to make possible. In order to act proactively and anticipate Israel Apartheid Week, we have worked with students to kick off an Israel BUYcott Campaign, encouraging the purchase of Israeli products to offset Israel Apartheid Week’s call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions. Check out the website http://www.buyisraeliproductsnow.org/

We have also developed amazing campus resources to help students disseminate the truth in the face of false accusations. Click here to learn about our activities, access educational resources, download materials, and participate in campaigns. In particular, Israel Peace Week is an amazing way to get involved. According to their website, “IPW's goal is to educate students about the true nature of Israel: a democratic, peace-seeking nation attempting to coexist with neighbors of all religions, ethnicities, and political affiliations,” and we would love to help sponsor your programs!

I also want to remind everyone that the registration for Campus Fellows 2010 is NOW OPEN! Click here to view the application. Our nationally recognized four-day Israel education and leadership seminar provides students with the highest level of scholarship, strategies and skills to advocate for Israel on campus, and I want to see you all there!

David Project Supports Israel Graduate School Course at Indiana University Kelley School of Business

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Mid-West Campus Blog! I will be using this page to keep everyone updated on the programs and events occurring on campuses in our region. I wanted to use my first post to let you all know about an amazing initiative happening at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. The David Project is helping to sponsor a student-developed, university-sponsored course called Kelley International Perspectives ("KIP") Israel. The course consists of seven class meetings in which graduate students learn about the business, economy, politics and culture of Israel with the help of guest speakers, Israeli business representatives, and professors. The course culminates in an excursion to Israel where students will visit Israeli firms, meet with government representatives, and initiate relationships between future business leaders and Israeli organizations.
